Skirting the Fairways
with Katharine in
Alice Springs
April 2009
A very proud Dad reporting that Katharine (Bunting) and Rachel (Korevaar) went to Alice Springs to play in the Australian Junior Champs.

Unfortunately, Rachel had a bout of Food Poisoning and did not play in the 54 Hole Championship, but she did play in the State Teams Series and helped Victoria into 3rd Place.

Katharine played in the 54 Hole championship only, and finished 36th with a very respectable score of 250 (79,82,89).

I have attached a picture of Katharine with Sienna Lambert and Britney Mueck on the 10th Tee at Alice Springs with the MacDonnell Ranges in the background.

I have also attached a couple of pictures of the Coober Pedy Golf course where Katharine practised before she went to Alice. If you think our courses are dry - Have a gander at this!
